What is Animoto?
It's an easy website to create videos. The website already has background music for the videos. You are also able to upload your own music if you would like. After choosing music, you can add text and pictures. Animoto makes it easy to create your own videos with the style you like.
What does this tool means for me as a student in the Education Program?
When I have to create videos for presentations, I can use animoto to create them. It will save me lots of time while preparing for my presentations and lessons.
What will I do with this tool as a future teacher?
This is a great tool for me to use to teach lessons with my students. Also, I can have my students use animoto to create their own videos if they ever do presentations in the classroom. My students can become excellent video makers with animoto.

PROS of
- Music is already provided
- Easy to add text and upload photos
- Many different styles you can choose for your video
CONS of
- You can't choose the specific time you want each slide of the video to last. You can only star a slide and it will add 3 extra seconds to it.
- It would be nice to be able to write a little more on each slide.
- Difficult to upload videos to computer and to share videos
How will I use this tool in my classroom to present information?
I can create short videos to present information to my students. In my classroom, I don't want to lecture to my students all day. I would like to mix it up so they will pay attention. Using videos in my lessons with help students pay more attention.

How can my students utilize this tool?
My students can create their own videos with animoto. There will be times in the classroom where they will have to give a presentation. They can use videos for their presentation to share information with the other students.
