Let's Learn About The Water Cycle!

EDpuzzle
What is EDpuzzle?

It's a network that allows you to select YouTube videos and add either audio or assessment questions that will pop up. Along with that, you can add comments to the video.

What does this tool means for me as a student in the Education Program?

I can use EDpuzzle as a tool to assess my classmates if they understand the lessons I give in class. This will help me get feedback if I am teaching the concepts clear enough for students to understand.

What will I do with this tool as a future teacher?

This tool can help me use repetition with my students. I can teach a lesson in class and then have them use my EDpuzzle video for homework to review. After they submit the video, I can get feedback on what concepts students didn't understand. This will help me improve my teaching and help my students understand all that they need to know.

PROS of
  • There are so many different kinds of videos
  • Easy to find videos
  • Easy to add questions
CONS of
  • Once you finish the video and publish it because once you publish it, you aren't able to edit it
  • Hard to get the timing right for the questions

How will I use this tool in my classroom to present information?

I can watch the videos I create in the classroom or as homework. This is help with repetition for the students to learn. These questions also allow high thinking. This will help my students to think more about what they learn.

How can my students utilize this tool?

They can use this tool as a review. I can have my video posted on my blogs to help them refresh their minds on what I have taught them.
