It's a new product that google has been creating. You are able to create videos of a typed story. You can create characters and have them write in the video. It is a new program, so you are unable to create a very long story but it's pretty simple. They have music you can add to you video.
What does this tool means for me as a student in the Education Program?
I can use new products to share with other new teachers. I can show them how to use it, so they can use it in their classrooms. It will help me be up to date as a teacher.
What will I do with this tool as a future teacher?
I can teach my students in a new way. I can help them understand simple concepts for grammar and writing. This will help them learn visually. most students have a hard time with English because it's not very visual. I can change that.
PROS of
- Easy to make
- Hard to create an account
- Easy to add music
CONS of
- Can only share the video, can't save it
- Limited on how much you can write for the story
How will I use this tool in my classroom to present information?
I can teach my student reading and writing through Gone Google Story Builder. This will help them visually see how to make creations. Also, I can create stories for them so they can see how to write stories.
My students can visually learn how to write stories and also to correct mistakes. I can post my videos online and they can refer to them when I have homework assignments for them.
